Dana Agnellini: News

Foregiveness - May 28, 2007

I was honored to be invited to provide the music and the lesson at Unity Church on May 20th. It was a great day of healing for many. Tears of sadness turned to tears of joy as many became willing to turn look at their lives differently, to move from victim mentality to empowerment. The radical foregiveness theme says that there are no mistakes and that our lives are perfectly choreographed to provide us the learnings we need to grow, expand, and become the fullest expression of who we are.

Guest Speaker - May 17, 2007

Hey gang...haven't updated in a while...been doing most of my interactions on myspace these days. I am now stepping into an expanded role..exciting! I will be the guest speaker/musician at Unity Church of Fredericksburg on Sunday May 20th at 10 AM. My talk is entitled "It's all Good", named after a new song by the same title. The theme is moving from duality to the understanding that there is only one presence and one power in the universe, God. The catalyst for this growth is foregiveness...and I will be referencing Radical Foregivness by Colin Tipping. If you are ready for a little spiritual weight loss..come by! I'd love to see you there! Many Blessings,

Dana

NEW CD RELEASE! - November 7, 2006

My new CD, For the Light will be available in late November. This project has been in the works since the spring and is finally ready for release! We will be having a fun CD Release party on December 2nd at Tickers Coffee in Fredericksburg, Virginia at 7PM. Come by and check it out!

Re-Grouping - September 1, 2006

Hi all!

It's been a while! I'm sitting here on a very rainy Friday catching up and re-grouping after a very busy summer! Sorry for the delay on the CD release...the title "Street of Dreams" was not meant to be...and therefore the wheels of forward motion just wouldn't roll! So, after much introspection, the title "For the Light" emerged as the essence of what I am sharing with this CD. The line is..."Will you stand up in the Darkness for the Light?" With that, the cover concept moved quickly and the forward momentum is back on track! So please stay tuned for updates...working on a Fall release.

I am also affiliated with a couple other opportunities to get my music out there. Please visit www.myspace.com/danaagnellini to hear clips from the new CD and/or www.gigmasters.com/music/danaagnellini for my new on line booking agency.

Hope to see you all at the Fredericksburg Library on September 17 for a great concert with Donna Cary! If you haven't heard her, you are in for a treat!

Blessings,

Dana

Home From Nashville - June 1, 2006

I went back to Nashville earlier this month and completed my new recording session at County Q Productions. They really are terrific, and we were able to produce a really high quality CD. It will be a little while before it is available, got a lot of work to do on the back end...but stay tuned..you will really enjoy this new CD! It ranges from solemn and prayerful (23rd Psalm) to in your face Rock (Wings of the Dove) and everything in between. So excited...can't wait for you all to hear it!

New CD Coming! - April 20, 2006

Hey there...been a long time since I've provided an update. Lot's of transition on my end. New home, new job, new everything! The great news is I'm heading back to Nashville in Mid May for another CD! I am in the process of selecting music now which is very hard to do. I've got about 30 new songs to choose from, and only 10 will make the cut. I'll keep you updated on the status of this project! In the meantime...let everyone know a new CD is on the way!

Blessings,

Dana

Blessed Christmas - December 26, 2005

Aint it just amazing how Christmas continues to work its magic year after year after year. People allow the Christ spirit into their lives because it is ok to do so at Christmas time, and miracles do happen. This is my family's first Christmas since our seperation, and we had such a beautiful time. We established new traditions, continued some old ones, and just appreciated each other without expectation. I hope your Christmas was as blessed as mine. May the new year bring you closer to your heart's desire.

A new Day is Coming - November 24, 2005

I recently wrote a song entitled "A new Day is Coming" and boy was I right! The universe continues to shift at a micro and macro level. The shifts are becoming more and more profound as each person is being aligned for their highest and best form of expression. For Christine and I, that meant that it was time for us to re evaluate and re negotiate our relationship. So we have decided to seperate. This was not a decision made out of haste or anger, but rather out of love for each other and for our family. We are truly and continue to be best friends, in fact better now than ever. Isn't it somewhat ironic that I just signed a publishing deal with Brandon Hills music for the song "Family man". Ah yes...sometimes I think God is sitting there watching TV flipping the channels and we (Earth) are Comedy Central!! So one door closes, another opens, things shift, things change, and in the end only love remains. So I sit here on Thanksgiving morning thanking God for providing me with a path full of blessings, and I am equally appreciative that I have summoned up the courage to take it!Blessings to all of you as you courageously accept God's blessings...even if they are completely counter to your plans! Oh, by the way...any single ladies out there for a private concert?? LOL :)

The River Takes Me Where I need to be - November 8, 2005

Hey gang,

I started my new job...and I've been up to my ears in training but I really love it. Once again I have been blessed by simply trusting. I attended the The Unity Sound Connections conference at Unity Village, Missouri and got an opportunity to play live for some of my favorite artists including Richard Mekdeci, Fred Bogert, Sue Krupa and Greg Tamblyn...what a hoot! I played a new song entitled "A New Day is Coming" and the audience was up on their feet clapping and dancing with Greg in the front row with that huge grin of his! In that moment, I knew that I was in the right and perfect place, and that my music was no longer just a hobby...but rather a calling. Special thanks to the Unity music team led by Richard Mekdeci for a fantastic conference! Also, check out Richard's review of my CD on the "review tab" of my website!

Taking a much needed break - September 23, 2005

It looks as though my new job will not begin until sometime in October (still waiting for the details). So life has provided me with a wonderful period of downtime. I have been off work since September 1 and I've had a chance to write more music, catch up around the house, and just breathe! It has been a wonderful time of reflection and healing. The concert last week was a blast!! Claudia Carowan, Jack Quigley, and Lea were outstanding. During my set, my daughter Arianna gifted us with "One Light at a Time" and Chritine Bemko-Kril joined me for a few songs as well. All the performers ended the show together with a very moving version of "This Land is your Land" in memory of September 11. To those of you who were there...thanks for your support. To those of you who weren't there...see you next time (You'll get your money's worth and then some!)

Shifts Happen! - August 18, 2005

Well folks, I'm about 14 days away from a huge shift in my life which has been coming for a while. As of September 1, due to a realignment I will be involuntarily seperated from Pfizer, the company I have worked for since 1996. Before you begin feeling sorry for me...hang on! Let's talk about prosperity, attitude, and leaving on top...I am currently ranked #1 out of 73 District managers in the nation, I have a better job job lined up and I'll be collecting a severance pay to boot! I share this with you for 1 reason. Your life may be shifting right under your feet, and you may feel victimized. My advice...don't you believe it...trust that the universe is aligning you to your highest and best...and ride the wave rather than letting it crush you! Surfing is fun! Blessings!

Starting to Build Some Steam! - July 8, 2005

Greetings. Wanted to provide a quick update. Things are really beginning to pick up steam now as the word circulates about my CD. I began booking dates for live engagements and the reaction to the live perfromances as well as the CD have been very strong. I have heard numerous accounts of the "healing" energy that is encoded in the music..very cool! In fact, Karen Short, my therapist friend in Massacheussets uses cuts from the CD during therapy sessions and has witnessed some powerful breakthroughs!

Arianna is now beginning to have her own fan club and is being requested for the live shows! We performed together in Chantilly Virginia last week and she did a great job! We will be vacationing on Longboat Key Florida for a couple weeks and I will be performing at Unity of Sarasota on July 24. They have a new facility which seats 1,000 and I'm told the acoustics are fantastic. If you are around, come on by!

Welcome! - June 15, 2005

Hey friends, thanks for stopping by! As you may already know, I have been making music for most of my life. In recent years, the call to share my music has gotten louder and louder. Evey day, I am blessed with touching stories about how my music has helped or motivated or comforted or just been enjoyed. I made a decision this year to honor this calling and to create my first CD. With that has come a renewed energy and focus on making music and sharing it with all of you. I really feel as though I am embarking on a journey, destination unknown. Thanks so much and stay tuned as it all begins to unfold! I trust that all is in divine order. Blessings to all of you.
